The latest partnership with the LGPA sets Kia up as the "Official Automotive Partner of the LPGA" and the "Official Tournament Vehicle" of eight LPGA tournaments.

It's a smart partnership, one that works on mutual appreciation and awareness. According to VP of Marketing and Communications, Michael Sprague, "Kia is experiencing unprecedented growth and our growing roster of high-profile sports marketing initiatives, including our presence with the LPGA, have led to dramatic increases in consumer perception, awareness and consideration for the brand."¹ He goes on to say, "Attendance and TV viewership of the Kia Classic tournament has grown, and with the tour's talented field of exciting young players sparking more interest in the sport, it was an easy decision to expand our relationship and become the LPGA's 'Official Automotive Partner'"²

Alongside this partnership, Kia will sponsor the Kia Performance Awards. The event will be highlighted throughout the season on LPGA telecasts and LPGA.com. Also, at events where Kia serves as the "Official Tournament Vehicle", there will be a special Kia "hole-in-one" vehicle on select Par 3 courses. Lastly, the third annual Kia Classic will take place at the La Costa Resort and Spa next season.
