Kia is expanding again, and this time it's building a landmark showroom in Collindale, North London, UK. The new dealership will be an expanded and re-vamped version of a currently semi-direct parking garage and will showcase fifteen vehicles and will also hold seven work bays, a full major trade parts operation, a customer handover area, and a dedicated MOT facility. The top three levels of the garage will be used for new Kia and used car vehicle storage.
The property will be managed by an existing company, Humming Bird Kia. As Larry Wood, Dealer Principal at Humming Bird Kia explains, "We are extremely happy to be part of this remarkable development on the Edgware Road. In 2011 from our existing operation, which is perhaps a little off the beaten track, we delivered almost 350 new Kias to smart and savvy North Londoners. Once this new site is up and running I am confident we will have the capacity to boost that performance to more than 700 new cars a year."1
The new, revamped showroom will significantly improve the appearance of the surrounding area, but it will not feature the brand's recently announced "Red Cube" architecture, due to its unique structure type. It will feature brand standards inside and out, including strong red cladding on its exterior.Luckily for you, reader, you won't have to cross the pond to see new Kia vehicles; there's a Kia showroom very close by, right here at Paul Cerame Kia, conveniently located at 11655 New Halls Ferry, Florissant, MO.
