2018 Kia Optima Trim Levels and Features

For the 2018 model year, the Kia Optima will have a few less options for trim levels and add-on packages. However, this is a good thing because Kia has included many of these standalone amenities in the five available trim levels making the buying process a lot smoother and less confusing. The base LX trim comes equipped with an impressive list of standard features considering the base price including automatic headlights, HD radio, a rearview camera, Bluetooth compatibility, and rear parking sensors along with the Apple CarPlay, blind spot monitor, and touchscreen mentioned above. The LX 1.6T trim adds an updated engine and the S trim is a performance-focused variant of the base LX trim. The EX trim adds even more creature comforts and the lineup is topped by the SX trim that offers all of the modern amenities a car lover could want like LED lights, wheel-mounted paddle shifters, keyless entry and ignition, a hands-free trunk, a moonroof, and more.
